Job summary

Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer to create reusable automation capabilities, enable platform engineering, and drive IT efficiency across Employee Services.

The role partners with product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations to translate business needs into practical automation and AI-enabled solutions, improving delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

Experience designing and supporting automation and DevOps in complex enterprises.
Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and API usage.
Proven track record in CI/CD, IaC, and modern deployment practices.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain target-state DevOps and automation architecture.
Design and maintain automations reducing manual work across teams.
Leverage AI, Copilot and event-driven architectures for self-service capabilities.
Partner with stakeholders to drive modernization and align solutions to business goals.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship on DevOps and engineering best practices.
Analyze data and telemetry to identify automation opportunities and improve reliability.
