Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer - Automation to design and build scalable automation workflows that empower our Falcon Complete MDR team.

You will lead the creation of agentic automation, integrate with multiple security tools, and mentor engineers while advancing AI-powered security operations. You will partner with analysts and engineering stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable automation that speeds threat triage, analysis and response at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of automation engineering, scripting or cybersecurity with progression to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Go, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java) and willingness to use Go/JS.
• Foundational understanding of LLMs and agentic development systems.
• Experience building enterprise-grade web services or data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automation features and product enhancements.
• Architect deterministic and agentic automation pipelines across security tools.
• Analyze complex factors to design scalable automation solutions for enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with Falcon Complete analysts, stakeholders and partners to gather feedback.
• Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance automation services.
• Mentor junior engineers, review code and designs, and drive best practices.
• Write automation to reduce operational load and increase velocity.
