Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Moreno Valley, CA, to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex automated warehouse systems. The role requires expertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on high-speed sortation and conveyors.

Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, servicing PLCs and motor controls, and ensuring safety standards per NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Certification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs to the input/output level, including processor fault identification.
• Service and repair motor control panels, including motor starters, overloads, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and fuses.
• Install and repair sensors, encoders, bar code readers, and Variable Frequency Drives.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and hydraulic systems; read schematics and drawings.
