Skechers USA, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems in Southern California.

The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with emphasis on high-speed sortation and ASRS. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, adherence to NFPA 70E safety standards, and the ability to minimize downtime in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems and HMI interfaces.
• Background in distribution or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to input/output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, starters, relays, and fuses.
• Maintain sensors, bar code readers, and dimensions in automation lines.
• Replace and wire dual-voltage motors (480V/208V) with brakes and speed reducers.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems including compressors, valves, actuators, and cylinders.
• Perform fabrication using cutting, drilling, and welding per hot work safety standards.
• Maintain conveyor and sortation systems (belted, roller, MDR, curved, spiral).
• Navigate Warehouse Control Systems and HMI for system diagnostics and control.
• Troubleshoot ASRS components and Print & Apply systems.
• Read schematics and blueprints to guide repairs.
• Work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with safety at the forefront.
