Job summary

Massman Companies seeks a Controls Engineer to design, modify, and optimize PLC programs and control systems for our automated machinery. You will troubleshoot complex electrical and automation challenges to maintain peak machine performance.

Leveraging NEC, NFPA, and UL standards, you will ensure safety and reliability while supporting a broad range of packaging and automation needs across our established product lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controls, automation, or electrical assembly.
• High School diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor's preferred in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or related field.
• Demonstrated PLC programming expertise, especially Allen Bradley, and HMI development.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and optimize PLC programs for production machines.
• Integrate advanced control systems and troubleshoot complex electrical/automation challenges.
• Ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and reliably per NEC/NFPA/UL standards.
