Job summary

ARM EnerTech Associates, LLC (AETA) seeks a self-driven Sr. Automation Specialist / Electrical Engineer to work with a multi-disciplinary team serving Northeast US clients. You will define client needs, develop strategies, prepare proposals, and manage design and permitting of automation and control panel projects.

The role involves on-site commissioning, training, budgeting, and leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial control systems and related technologies.
• Experience with PLC/ PAC, HMIs, SCADA, and motor drives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, proposals, and budgets; communicate with stakeholders.
• Oversee schedules, coordinate subcontractors, manage resources to meet timelines and budgets.
• Design industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor drives.
• Prepare, review, and update design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Lead SAT, system startup, and training related to PLC & HMI hardware and programming.
• Manage project budgets to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
