Job summary

ARM EnerTech Associates, LLC (AETA) seeks a Senior Automation Specialist / Electrical Engineer to lead automation projects for Northeast US clients. You will coordinate design, development, and execution across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA systems, HMI development, and control panel design, with strong client interaction and proposal development skills. Travel to job sites will be necessary.

Qualifications

10+ years' expertise in industrial control systems, PLC/PAC programming, HMIs, VFDs, and SCADA.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software.
Strong communication, planning and organizational skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the development, design, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop project scopes, objectives, proposals, and budgets while communicating with stakeholders.
Oversee schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage resources to ensure on-time delivery within budget.
Design industrial controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor drives.
Prepare and update design drawings using AutoCAD; lead SAT, startup and training activities.
Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
