Job summary

ATS Industrial Automation Inc. seeks a Controls Design Engineer to drive the development and commissioning of автоматони automation solutions. You will design electrical and pneumatic systems, select and test hardware, and work across teams to ensure safe, functional, and cost-effective automation projects.

The role requires 6+ years in electrical controls design, with hands-on robotics, PLCs, and system integration experience; travel to customer sites may be required to support projects.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, systems, or computer engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical controls design and development, with robotics, machine building and automation environments.
• Strong electrical problem solving and programming skills; thorough understanding of PLCs and robotics control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and pneumatic schematics per project requirements.
• Debug and commission electrical/pneumatic systems on-site and at customer sites.
• Select and integrate hardware/software: robots, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems, lasers.
