Job summary

Warn Automotive seeks an Automation Controls Engineer to design, test and maintain automated control systems for powertrain test equipment. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams in a safety-conscious environment, delivering robust, well-documented solutions and ensuring project milestones are met.

The role requires 5+ years in automation, experience with motors, servo systems and PLCs, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Five years of automation controls engineering experience.
• Five years with automation systems including motors, drives, servos, PLCs, wiring and PC interfaces.
• Degree in an applied science field or equivalent and training certification.
• Excellent MS Office skills (Project, PowerPoint, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, modify and maintain test equipment automation and control systems.
• Develop equipment engineering budgets and manage multiple projects.
• Deploy and debug automation hardware and software.
• Create technical documentation including requirements, specs and manuals.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for equipment and mentor teammates.
