Job summary

Warn Automotive seeks an Automation Controls Engineer to design and maintain automated test equipment and control systems. You will manage projects across multi-disciplinary teams, document specifications, and support both legacy and new hardware.

The role requires five years in automation controls, experience with motors, drives, servos, PLCs, and PC interfaces, plus a degree in an applied science. Onsite work in Milwaukie, OR is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of automation controls engineering experience.
• Five years of experience with automation systems including motors, VFDs, servo systems, PLCs, wiring and PC interfaces.
• Degree in applied science or equivalent education and training.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, modify, and maintain test equipment automation and control systems.
• Develop budgets and document specifications and manuals.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for equipment and contribute to NPI.
• Communicate project status and resource needs to leadership.
