Qualifications

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Automation & Business Process Analyst based in the United States.

This is a senior-level opportunity to lead business process improvement and automation initiatives from discovery through implementation and adoption. You'll partner with stakeholders across teams to understand challenges, define requirements, map workflows, and design more efficient ways of working. The role combines business analysis, process transformation, workflow automation, and hands-on systems configuration. You'll work across operational and administrative processes while helping improve efficiency, consistency, data quality, and compliance. You'll also contribute technical and operational guidance, mentor junior colleagues, and help build a culture of continuous improvement. The position offers a flexible working environment, with opportunities to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or in a hybrid setup.

Accountabilities

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead process transformation initiatives end to end, including discovery, current-state assessment, requirements gathering, future-state design, implementation, rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business needs into clear requirements, actionable project plans, workflows, and process documentation.
• Map current- and future-state processes and develop clear SOPs and supporting documentation that enable sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
• Select, configure, and optimize appropriate enterprise applications, workflow platforms, and automation tools based on project requirements.
• Work with platforms and technologies such as Microsoft solutions, Dynamics Sales, ServiceNow, Rippling, Dynamics Business Central, Power Platform, UiPath, PowerShell, and workflow automation tools.
• Develop solutions using existing technical expertise while collaborating with technical specialists when additional capabilities or resources are required.
• Design robust ETL processes that support the stability, security, and integrity of critical business data using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Databricks.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with applicable regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and process best practices.
• Proactively identify additional opportunities to improve processes across customer-facing and internal operations.
• Collaborate with consultants, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and successful adoption of process and system changes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong knowledge-sharing and continuous-improvement culture.

Requirements

• 3--5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or program management, ideally within systems, workflow, automation, or technology-driven environments.
• Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or cross-functional teams; healthcare or consulting experience is preferred.
• Hands-on, moderate-level configuration experience with workflow and business systems, with Microsoft Power Platform experience required.
• Strong process mapping, requirements gathering, business analysis, and documentation skills, including the ability to capture current- and future-state processes and create practical SOPs.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects from kickoff through implementation, rollout, and adoption across multiple departments.
• Comfort working in ambiguous or evolving environments, with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business processes, technologies, and operational challenges.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and collaboration skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and positive customer experiences.
• Ability and willingness to continuously learn new technologies, automation platforms, and industry practices.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with Rippling and other workflow platforms is advantageous.
• Lean Six Sigma certification at Green Belt level or above, or practical experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to process improvement, is a plus.
• Experience with project management methodologies or DevOps best practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, ITIL practices, HIPAA, HITRUST, and electronic medical record (EMR) technologies is a plus.
