Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair automatic doors and related hardware. AAADM certification is preferred, and candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in automatic door installation or service.

The role requires carpentry skills for partition framing and installation of doors/windows, strong mechanical aptitude, and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Proficient in servicing a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Minimum 2 years experience as automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Carpentry skills for partition framing and installing doors/windows.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
• Positive and professional attitude with good customer service.
• Ability to work well in teams or independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, and storefront/automatic doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Use carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on doors and hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and meet time constraints.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in team or solo work.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
