Job summary

Lane Valente Industries seeks an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair automatic and manual doors, closers, panic hardware, and related hardware across our client facilities. AAADM certification is preferred; candidates with 2+ years of installation or service experience and a clean driving record will excel.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as automatic door installer or service technician.
AAADM certification is a plus.
Proficiency in servicing doors, equipment, and control devices.
Carpentry skills for partition framing and installation of doors/windows.
Experience with commercial doors, storefront doors, and hardware.
Strong mechanical aptitude and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing and installation of doors/windows.
Conduct preventative maintenance on doors, hardware, and emergency exit devices.
Manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in team and independent settings.
Ensure attention to detail and adherence to processes.
Provide excellent service orientation to customers.
