Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair ADA operators, manual and automatic doors, door closers, and related hardware. AAADM certification is a plus, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer service.

The role requires carpentry skills for partition framing and installation of doors/windows, plus the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge: service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Experience: minimum 2 years as automatic door installer or service technician.
• Certification: AAADM certification is a plus.
• Carpentry skills: partition framing with metal/wood studs, installation of doors/windows.
• Commercial door experience: doors, hardware, storefront, closers, emergency devices, maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry for partition framing and installing doors/windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial doors and hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and meet time constraints.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in team or independent work.
• Ensure attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide excellent service orientation to customers.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
