Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, and related hardware. The role emphasizes quality workmanship and safety in a busy environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of automatic door experience, AAADM certification is a plus, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a professional attitude. The company values integrity, learning, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in automatic door installation or service.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in servicing various doors and equipment, carpentry, and mechanical aptitude.
• Must have a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and the installation of doors and windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors, hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices.
• Manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in team environments and independently.
• Ensure strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide excellent service orientation to customers.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
