Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service ADA operators and various door types. AAADM certification is preferred and familiarity with Horton, Stanley, and Assa Abloy hardware is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in automatic door installation or service, strong mechanical aptitude, a clean driving record, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Experience with commercial doors, storefront doors, door hardware, and door closers.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry for partition framing with metal/wood studs and installation of doors/windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial doors and related hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Provide professional service orientation to customers.
