Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia is seeking an Automated Warehouse Technician III to maintain and improve our highly automated warehouse systems. You will troubleshoot, adjust, and optimize equipment performance, collaborating with operations to minimize downtime and ensure reliable production support.

Required are a technical degree or 5+ years of maintenance experience, hands-on automation skills, and the ability to work safely at height.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing automated warehouse equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment failures and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work safely at heights (8–40 meters).
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment issues.
• Modify machine settings, controls, and operating parameters to optimize system performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to minimize downtime.
• Support relationships with external suppliers and vendors to resolve critical issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and report downtime events and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in LCIs, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
