Job summary

ICF is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to advance automated testing across platform, data, and AI/ML work in a federal contract context.

Role is remote with occasional on-site in the Washington, DC area; candidate location preferred within the DC metro. You will implement automated tests, release validation, and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with Agile teams, SRE, and security to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s can substitute for 2 years of experience; strong cloud/CI-CD exposure preferred.
• Experience translating requirements into automated tests and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated testing, release validation, quality gates, and rollback readiness checks.
• Coordinate release readiness with Agile Delivery Managers, Functional Leads, and SRE.
• Apply test automation, CI/CD quality gates, and regression testing in cloud-native environments.
