Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced technician to provide technical and administrative support for automated production lines in Ogden, UT. You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, program frequency drives, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to keep equipment operational.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, a high school diploma and relevant automation training. Expect a hands-on environment with strong safety and 5S adherence.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' experience troubleshooting electromechanical and PLCs.
• Basic understanding of HMI usage.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to operate test equipment, e.g. multimeter.
• Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and robotics.
• Ability to keep and maintain complete and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated production equipment.
• Lead preventive maintenance tasks on packaging electro-mechanical systems and related automation.
• Verify proper machine operation after maintenance and ensure peripheral equipment is safe to operate.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools to fabricate/repair parts; weld when necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to allocate parts and support actions.
