Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Knoxville site is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated production lines. You will interact with engineering, quality, and maintenance to keep equipment running and meet production objectives.

Under limited supervision, you will lead preventive maintenance tasks, read electrical schematics, program frequency drives when needed, and collaborate with Solutions Maintenance and Materials teams for parts and spare

Qualifications

4–6 years of troubleshooting electromechanical and PLC-equipped equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with automated production lines, packaging systems.
Capable of performing preventive maintenance checks.
Proficient with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated production equipment under limited supervision.
Lead assigned preventive maintenance tasks on packaging and electro-mechanical systems.
Verify machine operation and safety with peripheral equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Materials teams for parts and inventory.
