Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ogden seeks a shift supervisor to provide technical direction on machine operation, train staff, plan and assign work, and ensure production lines run efficiently and in compliance.

You will monitor yields, quality, and cleanliness, troubleshoot equipment, support validations, and act as SME for area systems. A HS diploma is required, with higher degrees preferred, and 4–6 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to present information to managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Proficiency with Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
• Must meet Fresenius' minimum vision requirements for product inspection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all department operations including yields, reject trends, quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair area systems and production equipment as deviations occur.
• Act as SME in verification of area system operation, line clears, and quality system functions on the BPR as per SOP.
• Monitor individual employee performance and assist with additional training.
• Notify supervisor of operating problems and employee concerns, providing feedback on strengths and weaknesses.
• Assist with validations as needed.
