Job summary

RESPEC in Anchorage, AK is seeking an experienced Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our full-service engineering team. You will develop civil infrastructure drawings for highways, mining roads, water/sewer utilities, and site development, collaborating with land surveyors, engineers, scientists, and project managers to ensure CAD deliverables meet standards.

You will mentor CAD technicians, perform QA/QC on drawings, and help assign work while delivering high-quality documents in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of AutoCAD 3D design drafting experience.
• Proficient drafting techniques and CAD workstation usage to develop finished drawings.
• Ability to produce accurate drawings while meeting project deadlines.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Providing plan production services with teams of engineers and technicians.
• Coordinating models and designs across disciplines.
• Working from plan markups and verbal directions.
• Delivering quality CAD documents using company standards.
• Mentoring and delegating tasks to CAD staff.
