Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Columbus, OH seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team for higher customer satisfaction. The role offers flat-rate pay with performance-based compensation and growth through training.

The position requires strong diagnostic skills in brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, plus ASE certifications within two years. On-the-job training and a path to professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires ASE certifications and/or completion of a Vocational-Technical School Program.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing brakes, alignments, and suspension is preferred.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train junior technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years, company funds exams.
