Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to enhance customer care. The role offers a flat-rate pay model and potential for ASE certifications through company-funded training.

You will diagnose, repair, and explain complex issues, stay current with evolving automotive technology, and mentor junior technicians in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment across our stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include valid driver’s license, brakes/diagnosis and alignment/suspension skills, and ability to communicate technical information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and related systems to specification.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Mentor technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
