Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to join our Lexington, NE team. You will diagnose and repair customer vehicles, adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership standards, while coordinating with a seasoned staff on parts orders and invoicing to keep the job moving efficiently.

Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, with compensation from $70,000 to $95,000 per year plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience required and strong diagnostic skills.
• ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles per MAP guidelines and dealer standards.
• Perform multi-point inspections and repairs with accuracy.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with parts orders and scheduling as needed.

Education

ASE certifications in lieu of experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
