Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician in a role that focuses on diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles with precision and efficiency. You will perform advanced diagnostics, adhere to MAP guidelines, and meet dealership and manufacturer repair standards.

The position offers strong pay ($30.00–$45.00 per hour) based on experience and certifications, along with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience accepted.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Performs Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order work with efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to Sun Auto's core values and company policies.
