Job summary

AutoNation is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Technician in Spokane Valley. You will perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, interacting daily with customers, service advisors, and teammates to ensure top-quality work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs if authorized by Customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of tools not normally inventoried by Service department.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
