Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to MAP guidelines and dealer standards, working with a seasoned team to meet quality and timing expectations.

We offer competitive pay in the $90k-$120k range, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, benefits, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and advancement opportunities; ASE certifications may substitute experience and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications may substitute for experience.
• Must demonstrate use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and 18+ years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles per certification level.
• Perform repairs and multi-point inspections.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers/managers.
• Recommend necessary services and document in file.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain flexible schedules.

Education

ASE certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical School experience preferred
