Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards under MAP guidelines. This role requires ASE certification or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work Monday through Friday.

Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, with benefits including paid vacation and sick time, holidays, health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification level and experience.
• Performs Multi-point Inspections and repairs with accuracy.
• Conducts complex and heavy-duty repairs as needed.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to managers, service staff, and customers.
• Recommends necessary services and documents them in the customer file.
