Job summary

Delta World Tire is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles with precision and efficiency. You will explain findings to customers and colleagues, perform multi-point inspections, and handle complex repairs when required.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to MAP guidelines, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. A flexible Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications in lieu of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics.
• Valid Driver’s license in the work state (out-of-state licenses must be transferred within 30 days).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (Store Manager, Service Consultants, customers).
• Recommends services to keep the vehicle in running condition and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, Monday - Friday.
