Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in the United States is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while applying leadership and mentoring to drive customer care and satisfaction.

Pay range is $19.57–$32.02 per hour under a flat-rate compensation model; Bridgestone offers on-the-job training, ASE certifications, paid vacation, and benefits for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Skills in brakes, hydraulics, steering & suspension and alignments.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair braking, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension, AC and electrical systems to specification.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1-A8) within first two years; test fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
