Pit Shop Auto Repair in Libertyville, IL is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues and perform repairs in a busy shop.

Earn $36-$60 per flagged hour with a 30-hour weekly guarantee, paid weekly under a flat-rate system. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and tooling support. Training and DVI are emphasized in a structured workflow environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Diagnostic, drivability, and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to complete repairs independently.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Complete repairs independently based on skill level.
• Perform vehicle inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Document vehicle findings and recommended repairs accurately.
• Maintain repair quality while working efficiently in a flat-rate environment.
• Communicate repair findings with the service team.
