Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to MAP and dealership standards. Position offers competitive pay and benefits, with Sundays off and opportunities for advancement.

The role requires ASE or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to operate advanced diagnostic tools. Training and tuition reimbursement are available, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ automotive technician/ mechanic experience required.
• ASE certifications may substitute for experience.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• State Inspector license or ability to obtain within 30 days where required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certifications and experience.
• Perform work on Multi-point Inspections and repair orders with accuracy.
• Carry out complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommend necessary services and document in customer file.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report concerns.
• Maintain flexible schedules, including weekends but not Sundays.
• Follow Sun Auto’s policies and values as outlined in the handbook.
