Job summary

Seattle Mercedes-Benz service technician role at Swickard Auto Group requires prior automotive repair experience and a passion for luxury brands. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of vehicle systems, using scanners, meters, and manuals to ensure safety and performance.

You’ll interact with customers, provide accurate estimates, and maintain quality workmanship in a fast-paced service department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Service Technician or related automotive repair experience; Mercedes-Benz brand preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certifications are a strong plus; Mercedes-Benz OEM certification preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles following service manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and prepare repair plans with estimated costs.
• Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex engine or transmission work as qualified.
• Test repairs for functionality and safety; document all Repairs and parts used on service orders.
• Provide accurate estimates and timelines; communicate progress to customers and address concerns.
