Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of McKinney is seeking an automotive service technician to perform repair and maintenance on luxury vehicles. You will oversee any apprentice technician and ensure work meets dealer and factory standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with luxury vehicles, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment testing; ASE or manufacturing training is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Luxury vehicle technician.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing: background checks, MVR, drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as per repair order and standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed.
• Notify service advisor if additional work is required.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes and ASE or manufacturing training.
