Job summary

Swickard in Seattle, WA seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of automotive problems. You will be the heart of the service department, working on luxury vehicles and upholding premium service standards.

This role requires 2–3 years of experience, Mercedes-Benz brand familiarity preferred, and ASE certifications are a plus. You will partner with customers to explain issues, prepare repair plans, and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of Service Technician experience; Mercedes-Benz brand preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a range of vehicle systems.
• Analyze customer concerns, prepare repair plans, and obtain authorization.
• Perform tests to verify repairs and document work performed.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide accurate estimates.
• Maintain safety, organization and cleanliness in the shop.
• Stay current with new technologies via training.
