Job summary

New Country Motor Cars is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the New and Pre-Owned departments, drive profitability, and enhance customer retention. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and an ethical approach to sales.

As part of the team, you will manage staff, train for a unified sales process, collaborate with eCommerce, and optimize CRM usage to deliver a top-tier customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales management.
• Ability to lead a diverse sales team.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales, gross profit, and expense forecasts for New and Pre-Owned departments.
• Hire, train, and maintain a competent sales team including managers and Sales Leasing Consultants.
• Ensure staff is trained in a uniform sales process and CRM usage.
• Provide guidance and training for all sales staff.
• Merchandise showroom and lot to deliver a Customer First experience.
• Manage New and Pre-Owned inventory and pre-owned vehicle appraisals.
• Review performance with the General Manager and adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with eCommerce to keep online offers current and inventory well displayed.
• Manage and maintain the dealership CRM and train staff to maximize its use.
• Train staff to communicate effectively with customers across platforms.
• Foster ownership mindset to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Directly manage all demonstration vehicles.
