Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking an Auto Property Damage Claims Representative to manage Auto PD claims in a fast-paced environment with strong phone interaction. The role emphasizes professional customer service, documentation, and adherence to privacy regulations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of PD claim experience, with licensing in several states preferred. A robust benefits package and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of related PD claim experience is required.
• Licensed in CT, NH, RI and other states is preferred.
• Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage for Auto PD claims.
• Investigate auto accidents to assess liability by interviewing claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties.
• Evaluate reserves and prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority; seek supervisor guidance for higher value files.
• Maintain follow-up on pending files and communicate status to insureds, claimants, and brokers.
• Handle subrogation processes and respond to related legal matters.
• Provide administrative support including timely mail processing and responsive emails.
