Job summary

Liberty Mutual's Personal Lines Casualty Team is hiring a Senior Claims Specialist to manage attorney represented auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. You will investigate, resolve, and ensure timely service to policyholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12-18 months of directly related experience.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Manages, investigates, and resolves claims; evaluates coverage, liability, damages, and settles within authority.
• Identifies suspicious claims and refers to SIU; pursues third party subrogation opportunities.
• Prepares for and attends trials; reports status to Home Office and local management.
• Communicates with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information.
• Ensures reserves adequacy and maintains file security and reporting.
• Oversees practices and billing of outside and in-house counsel.
