Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Naperville, IL is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist for the Personal Lines Casualty Attorney Represented team. You will manage attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner’s bodily injury claims with accountability for investigations and timely resolutions.

The role supports hybrid work with on-site presence for those within 50 miles and remote options for others, starting January 11, 2027.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12-18 months related experience.
Licensing as required.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with attorney represented and litigated auto/homeowner claims preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, evaluating coverage, liability, damages, and settle within authority.
Identify suspicious claims and refer to SIU; pursue third-party subrogation.
Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences; report to Home Office and local management.
Coordinate with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information and advise on actions.
Respond to inquiries and provide status updates.
Ensure reserves adequacy and security of financial processing of claims.
Update files and generate comprehensive reports.
Manage practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
Training is mandatory with reliable attendance and active engagement.
