Job summary

Safelite is seeking experienced Auto Glass Technicians in Florida to join our shop or mobile teams. The role may be filled at Technician, Senior Technician, or Master Technician level based on experience, qualifications, technical capabilities, and certifications.

Senior and Master Technician positions may include coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership responsibilities. We offer training, benefits, and career advancement within Safelite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED/Equivalent Preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• 2+ years of experience as an Auto Glass Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide all vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop in the most efficient manner, focusing on safety, quality and exceptional customer service.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing.
• Proficiently operate Safelite’s tools and technologies, including True Seal, Ezi-Wire, Glass Table System, and MRM technology.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
• Communicate with customers in person, via text, and on the phone; present and promote Safelite services.
• Senior/Master Technician will mentor and coach others and share best practices.
