Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles with a focus on quality.

You will work on advanced diagnostics, drivability, and complex repairs, with a clear path from A-Level Technician to Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or Technical Manager as the business grows. Competitive pay, PTO, holidays, health benefits, and a signing bonus up to $5,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical abilities are essential.
• A-Level or Master-level mechanical skills required.
• Transmission experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Your own professional tools are needed for the job.
• ASE certifications are preferred, but proven ability matters more than certificates.

Responsibilities

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Address drivability concerns and diagnose complex systems.
• Perform transmission diagnosis, repair, and replacement as needed.
• Lead major engine diagnostics and mechanical repairs when required.
• Tackle complex repairs that may exceed other technicians’ capabilities.
• Provide solid mechanical work and maintain quality over speed.
