Job summary

Allen Turner Automotive is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to perform quality collision repairs in Auburn, AL. You will handle bodywork, panel replacement, and structural repairs with precision, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires 2+ years of collision repair experience, familiarity with repair procedures, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. Opportunities for training and advancement are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive body repair or collision repair experience.
• Experience with collision repair techniques and panel replacement.
• Familiarity with collision repair tools and manufacturer repair procedures.
• I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality collision repairs, including bodywork, panel replacement, and structural repairs as needed.
• Repair dents, dings, and other vehicle body damage using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels, bumpers, trim, and other components.
• Prepare vehicles for repair by removing damaged parts, trim, and accessories.
• Perform metal finishing, body filling, sanding, and other surface preparation work.
• Align and fit replacement panels to ensure proper gaps, fit, and finish.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and specifications to ensure safe, accurate repairs.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality, fit, and overall appearance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Work efficiently with the collision repair team to meet production goals and repair timelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned
