Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting speed, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools and jigs, and ensuring work meets KPIs. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates with appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, and replace parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
