Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability per company guidelines.
• CDL and Medical card per FMVSS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders, work orders, and estimator notes before starting work.
• Complete repairs according to documentation and vendor procedures.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform teardown, identify parts for cut-in and edging, and follow factory specs.
• Sign off on quality checks before painting and final assembly.
• Mentor apprentices and lesser skilled technicians.
