Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to repair or replace damaged body parts to pre-accident condition, following factory specs. The goal is an invisible repair that meets or exceeds factory fit and finish.

You will review repair orders, perform repairs per documentation, use frame and measuring equipment, conduct teardowns and reassemblies, and complete final quality checks before painting and detailing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ body shop experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
• Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders, work orders, and estimators notes before starting repairs.
• All repairs must be completed according to the repair order or supplements.
• Knowledge of the manufacturer’s and technical repair process.
• Ability to use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform initial teardown of vehicle.
• Identify parts for cut-in and edging.
• Perform repairs according to factory specs and company policy.
• Sign-off on all quality checks before sending to paint.
• Re-assemble painted vehicle and parts.
• Final quality check before sending to detail.
