Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring an experienced body technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform high-quality work across our high-volume shops. You will work with a team to ensure on-time completion, assess repair vs.

replace options for safety and cost, and contribute to a safe shop environment. The role requires frame machine operation, I-CAR welding certification preferred, and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with teammates on repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical components, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
