Job summary

Crash Champions, a leading collision repair network, is seeking qualified technicians to inspect damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair processes. You will collaborate with team members to communicate repair status, perform high-quality repairs, and decide on repair vs.

replacement with emphasis on safety and cost control. The role requires frame machine operation, I-CAR welding certification, and the ability to supervise repair personnel.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and direct apprentices.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while meeting on-time targets.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, trims and components to access areas needing repair.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power and hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
