Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• Able to supervise repair personnel and mentor apprentices.
• Willingness to pass thorough background checks.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans the repair process.
• Communicates repair status with teammates.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement based on safety and cost.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access areas.
• Attends required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
