Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician with leadership abilities to plan repair processes and supervise apprentices while ensuring on‑time completion of high‑quality work. The role requires strong knowledge of body repairs, frame machines, and welding standards.

The successful candidate will work in a fast‑growing, customer‑facing shop environment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high workmanship to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine and perform precise repairs.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer and repair standards.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and direct tasks.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team and customers as needed.
• Performs high‑quality repairs while maintaining on‑time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Gains access to vehicle by removing upholstery and trim as needed.
• Attends all required safety meetings and participates in shop safety.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power or hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
